After a 4-0 record at Regionals Skogs is going to EUCF in Basel as the #1 seed.
Though short on players, Skogs showed great strength and cruised on to semi. In the semi we faced last year's final opponent, SOS from Finland. After trading points for the first 6 points Skogs got their break and from there on just kept on pulling away. The final score was 15-11. This win guaranteed us a spot at EUCF, but as always we were not happy only having qualified, we wanted the #1 spot.
In order to go to Basel as #1 Skogs needed to beat Helsinki Ultimate in the final. This proved easier than we first had anticipated. After a 4-0 start the game was more or less over and the final score was 15-9.
Again a very successful weekend where different players kept coming up with big plays and scores, showing the depth of the team.
Skogs are now in full preparation for EUCF and will bring a big squad to Basel to show that Skogs still is the team to beat.
